The Tennessee Titans (0-0) launch their season this week on the road against the Denver Broncos (0-0). Kickoff at Empower Field at Mile High (capacity 76,125) is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. MDT/3:05 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Sept. 7.
Sunday marks the fourth season opener in Titans/Oilers history against the Broncos and the second in a six-year span. The Titans traveled to Mile High for a Monday night opener in 2020, and in a stadium without fans present due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they won 16-14. Prior to 2020, the last Week 1 meeting between the franchises was a 30-17 Oilers loss at Denver in 1972, preceded by an Oilers home win in 1966.
